During this exchange, they discussed the application prospects of phase change energy storage technology in the cold chain logistics field and had in-depth discussions on how to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Zhao Gang, General Manager of HeatMate New Energy, and Dr. Shen Yanming provided detailed introductions to HeatMate's research and development achievements in phase change energy storage technology and its application cases in the cold chain logistics field. The cold storage cold energy storage system CESS (Cold Energy Storage System) developed by HeatMate utilizes off-peak electricity to store cold energy, maintaining the cold storage temperature during peak electricity periods. It is easy to install, does not occupy effective space, can significantly save refrigeration electricity consumption (5-28%), reduce energy costs (30-63%), while also improving temperature stability and enhancing the preservation of goods.

The Cold Chain Branch expressed recognition of HeatMate New Energy's technical strength and product applications, and engaged in in-depth discussions on the actual needs and technical bottlenecks of the cold chain logistics industry. It was generally believed that phase change energy storage technology has broad application prospects and huge market potential in the cold chain logistics field. By applying this technology to cold storage, refrigerated vehicles, and other cold chain logistics facilities, it can not only achieve efficient energy storage and utilization, reduce energy consumption and operating costs of refrigeration systems, but also improve the efficiency and reliability of cold chain logistics, providing strong support for the sustainable development of the industry.

During the exchange, both parties also had in-depth discussions on how to strengthen cooperation, promote technological innovation, and market application. The Cold Chain Branch of the China Warehousing Association stated that it would actively promote HeatMate New Energy's phase change energy storage technology and encourage more cold chain logistics companies to adopt this technology to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. At the same time, both parties will strengthen cooperation in technology research and development, standard formulation, and market promotion to jointly promote the green development of the cold chain logistics industry.

At the 4th National Cold Chain Operation Conference held by the China Warehousing and Distribution Association on December 7, 2023, HeatMate New Energy was awarded the title of 'Green Cold Chain Technology Equipment', which is a high recognition of HeatMate's technical strength and product applications. HeatMate New Energy will continue to focus on technological innovation and continuously promote the green development and cost reduction and efficiency improvement of the cold chain logistics industry.
