HeatMate New Energy Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established in 2016. The company commit to the research, development, and production of green, energysaving, environmentally friendly, intelligent, economical, safe, and comfortable highefficiency phase-change energy storage technology, products, and overall solutions.
HeatMate New Energy has a hightech R&D team led by several energy specialists with PhDs and Master’s,and has received entrepreneurial guidance from Dr. Shi Zhengrong, a new energy technology expert and entrepreneur. The company has a R&D center and production base in Qingpu District, Shanghai, and has a complete set of advanced material manufature and performance characterization equipments.

HeatMate New Energy has applied for more than 60 patents, including more than 20 invention patents. It also participated in the creation of national standards and industry standards such as"Thermal Storage Electric Heating Device", "Technical Guidelines for Industrial Lowgrade Waste Heat Central Heating System", "Phase-Change Thermal Storage Device without Builtin Heat Source", "Technical Regulations for Clean Energy Heating", "Green Building Materials Evaluation Standards - Energy Storage Device for Buildings", "Inorganic Hydrated Salt Phase-Change Material Life Test Method", and "Phase-Change Thermal Storage Device Thermal Storage Performance Attenuation Test Procedure", and participated in the creation of the "Electric Heating Boiler Room Design Code" in Xinjiang.
The company developed -100℃~1000℃ nanoeutectic phase-change energy storage (hot/cold) material, it is characterised by precise temperature control, ultrahigh energy storage density, cycle stability, safety and environmental protection, the material has the lifespan of 9000 operation cycles, and has passed oral toxicity, skin irritation, corrosion and other thirdparty tests.
The "battery-like" thermal battery developed by HeatMate can release the stored heat energy in a controllable and highgrade manner with customized temperature and heating rate via cascade or parallel configuration. Its core function is to solve the problem of differences in energy conversion time, space and power requirements, and to convert lowgrade thermal energy into highgrade energy for storage and utilisation.
The characteristics of the thermal battery, such as temperature customization, precise temperature control, and ultrahigh heat and cold storage capacity, have been widely used in clean heating/cooling, waste heat utilization, cold chain, cold storage, phase-change heat storage, green building materials, and home appliance energy storage and temperature regulation. At present, the thermal battery has been successfully applied in more than 200 projects in Northeast, Northwest, North China, East China and other regions, helping China to achieve energy conservation and carbon peak and neutrality targets.
